Natalie's House

This weekend, my parents went to Illinois without me and my brother, so he went to my grandma and grandpa's house, and I went to Natalie's. We had so much fun. Before I even got there, me and her had this whole entire plan that we were going to do. Half of that ended up not even happening because we didn't have enough time in the days! But here is what our plan was from before I even got there:
  • Friday: Go to the movie theater with Lexi and Jayla to see "Dear John"

  • Saturday: Watch "New Moon" with Mrs. Sheridan and Erin, Jayla's party (see "Jayla's Surprise Birthday Party")

  • Sunday: have a movie marathon of other movies, watch the Super Bowl
Even though that would have been really fun to do, we also had a lot of fun doing what we actually ended up doing. On Friday, I rode Natalie's bus home from school to begin our weekend (we dropped my stuff off the night before at our soccer game). When we got home, we went up to Natalie's room and learned a rap from a song that Natalie wanted to learn. I actually didn't want to learn it that much, but Natalie wanted to memorize it really bad because it was Lil Wayne singing it. Although I ended up memorizing it also from listening to her. Once her mom got home from school, Natalie and I made the most awesomest cookies ever made in the world. They were shaped like dog bones, stars, and sharks from the cookie cutters that we found. We were going to use food coloring too, but we forgot to put them in after we put them in the oven. After our cookies were completed, we called Erin over and told her to bring berries and a swimsuit for no reason at all. While we told her that over the telephone, she completely freaked out because we wouldn't tell her what they were going to be used for. It was about 9:00 at night, and we had just started "New Moon". Right in the middle of the movie, Erin's mom texted her saying that she needed to come home, but somehow Erin convinced her to let her sleep over that night. Then we were really tired so we ate a bag of Sour Patch Kids and then went to bed.

Erin had to leave the next morning at 8:20 so she could go to Matthew's basketball game. So Natalie and I walked downstairs and asked Mrs. Sheridan to go to Pick 'n' Save to buy us some doughnuts for breakfast, and she actually did! Then we went back upstairs after we had eaten to go get ready for the guys's basketball tournament that we were going to see. We watched 1 1/2 games, and then got bored so we left. We went home and got ready for Jayla's birthday party (see "Jayla's Surprise Birthday Party") and then left once again. Once we got back home from the party, we sat down on the couch and watched "Toddlers and Tiaras" with Mrs. Sheridan before going to bed. She had this whole conversation with us about how me and Natalie could easily beat any of those girls in a beauty pageant and then about boyfriends because some 11-year-old girl brought her boyfriend with her to the pageant, and it was absolutely crazy. Then we went to bed because we were tired from swimming so much.

The next morning we woke up, and then ate some cereal for breakfast because Max ate the last doughnut. All we really did that morning was talk and listen to music. Then Mr. Sheridan went to Pick 'n' Save to buy us lunch, and he came home with a foot long, 5 inch tall sandwich named "The Boss". It was crazy huge! It had lettuce, ham, turkey, salami, tomato, and a sauce with mustard and mayonnaise all stuffed inside of this really good bread; but I only ate the meat inside of it because I didn't like anything else because it was all smothered in the sauce which I didn't like. We really didn't do anything else that afternoon. Once it was about 5:00, we started to eat dinner before the Super Bowl came on. For dinner we had steak, potatoes, asparagus, and really chocolatey chocolate cake. It was really yummy. The Super Bowl had just started when we finished eating. At first Max was cheering for the Saints, but when the Colts had a lead, he was cheering for the Colts. By the end of the game, he switched teams like eight times. I had to leave the Sheridan's house in the middle of the third quarter to finally go back home. When I got home I had to unpack, then get in the shower. At the time when I got in the shower, the Saints were losing 17-16, but when I came out they were winning 31-17! I completely spazzed out and screamed, "Oh my God what happened???" and then I knew that the Saints were going to win and I was happy.

  1. I like how you tell stories of what happend, but i think it could use a little revision. I got lost in a few parts. But besides that i liked it a lot.

  2. Hahahaha that was sooooo mcuh fun:) You did a really good job of explaining what happened, but I'm not sure how good the reader could imagine it because I was there the whole time. Nice job:)
